How can I use a DGT board with Fritz and the Playchess server?

Select from the "Tools" menu the DGT board. Don't use the "connect hardware" option
You have to do this every time you start Fritz when you want to play with the DGT board.
Fritz has a problem when you play games over the internet shorter than 15 minutes per player. The interface may get frozen after some moves. Because you have to move your opponents piece in your time it is for other reasons not wise to play quickies on the internet with the DGT board.
Playchess.com
To play against human opponents you can choose "playchess.com" from the splash screen.
You can make a personal account, or you can log in as a guest. Your personal account will be free, for 30 days.
To use the DGT e-board check this box in tools - options. Be aware that you can only play games with a timing longer than 15 minutes per player with an e-board.
