TOMA chess tournament broadcasting software features advanced functionality for both personal use and professional tournament broadcasting. Its main options are:
- Connect multiple DGT e-boards:Connect the boards to one PC or use several PC's for lage tournaments, connecting over LAN or internet.
- Read and write PGN games:Automatically save games to PGN-standard, including live clock times.
- Live Broadcasting to the web:Send games live to the internet through FTP. Includes Toma Flash Display, the viewer for live chess broadcasting with low bandwidth usage.
- Display games to the audience: Show games real-time on pc-monitors, TV-screens, beamers, etc.
- Supports different chess variations:Besides traditional chess, TOMA can be used for Chess960 tournaments.
- Connects to ChessShow: ChessShow is an extension to the Toma software.

After the release of the DGT LiveChess software in September 2011 DGT no longer updates and maintains existing TOMA software.
