ToMa is client server application. When you first use it, you are asked if your firewall may make an exception for ToMa. It is important to unblock ToMa in your firewall even if you use it on only one computer.
Because ToMa is a client server application it uses the computer name of the machine(s) it is running on. Until version 1.5.005 ToMa will not accept computer names with a hyphen (-) in it. When everything seems to work correctly but you don't see any game in your main screen of ToMa, check your computer name using the [Windows+Pause/Break] key on your keyboard and choose the computer name tab. You can change the name in this window. After this you have to restart your computer.
Also check if there is no other application running, which uses the DGT e-board.
This bug is fixed in ToMa 1.6x. The easiest way to solve this problem is to upgrade to ToMa 1.6 which you can find on our download software page.
