* The DGT 2010 has no special option for "Move Timer" mode, but there is a work-around to achieve this. See the FAQ section of this website for more information.
The DGT Easy clocks are primarily intended for use at home or school. They only have one time control. Easy clocks are available in 4 different colors.
The DGT Easy+ has additional Bonus and Delay functionality. It is only available in the color silver/black
The DGT XL is approved and recommended by FIDE, the World Chess Federation, and offers the most options and functionality. It can be connected to a DGT e-board. It comes in two colors: beige and dark red.
The DGT 2010 is approved and recommended by FIDE. The Delay options are according to the Bronstein method, which means that the delay time for the next turn is added on the clock's display after a player ends his current turn. The clock starts counting down immediately at the beginning of each turn. This is the official FIDE method. The only color is dark red.
The DGT NA is not certified by FIDE, but complies with USCF regulations (United States Chess Federation). The clock does not count down during the delay time, but instead shows a blinking icon during delay time and starts counting down after this. When one of the players has used all of his time in the final time control, the clock does not freeze. The time left for the other player will count down during his turn, until it also used up. The only color is blue with orange buttons.
The DGT 960 has the same functionality as the Easy+. In addition it can randomly generate Chess960 starting positions. It is foldable and is only available in white with orange buttons.
"Real" delay and "Bronstein" delay have the same result in the timing method, only what the players see on the display is different.
