Today a new version of the DGT E-Board driver is released within the DGT Board Setup Wizard 1.2.5.
The release notes for this version are:version 1.2.5 20090201
- Solved the missing LOST message when the connection when the board was disconnected.
- Copies the dll also into the "Program Files\Common Files" directory.
- Forces alway to use the 32 bit directory under a 64 bit MS Windows.
- Restored the installation of a confirmation and an alert sound (.wav files) in the Sounds directory.
- Corrected the link to the announcements, including calling the users default web browser.
- Clean up of code.
- Added manifest for DLL to be used under Vista.
- Replaced the FTDI USB drivers with the latest version. The older version of these drivers can cause lock up of the USB port under XP and Vista.
- Removed old DLL for ChessBase directory. This is not needed anymore. The Fritz interface uses already the new driver. The old DLL can confuse customers if they use it through the 'Connect Hardware ..' menu option, as it has less possibilities.
