We constantly get new ideas for products, enhancements and other things. As we have a small team, not always all technical skills are immediately available and take some time to get. Ideas and opportunities where we are working or thinking about:
- Next generation tournament software ToMa.
- New Open Source board driver. Which is usable on multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OSX).
- A (Google) gadget within social websites to display live or played games.
- Making Draughts (10x10), Checkers (8x8) and other 8x8 games available on DGT boards. Mainly the reconstruction of the games on the board needs a lot of work to be done for these games.
- Sometimes interfaces between our driver and an existing chess application is necessary. We have for example Gamekeeper (for ChessMaster) and WoodIn (for ICC Blitzin). Maintenance for Gamekeeper, which is not programmed by DGT, is running out. And it needs to be extended for the next generations of ChessMaster, as UbiSoft is not embedding the Eboard driver at this moment.
