DGT Chess Clock Design Competition

To celebrate 30 years of DGT, we are holding a competition where you can participate. We invite you to express your creativity and decorate your own version of our latest clock, the DGT2500.
Prizes:
- The winner receives: €500 and a chess clock with your own artwork design, tailored as closely as possible to your original competition entry.
- The people’s favourite receives: a DGT Walnut Chess Board, DGT Timeless Wooden Chess Pieces and a DGT2500 (valued at €308).
- The 8 remaining finalists each will receive: a DGT2500.
How to participate:
- Download the competition files.
- Decorate the clock files with your own unique artwork design either on paper or digitally. The design can be fully digital or created on paper before being digitized. You can choose to decorate one or all the files.
- Complete the form below with your personal information and upload your design on this webpage.


Eligibility:
The DGT Chess Clock Design Competition is open to everyone who wishes to submit an entry. Any participants under the age of 18 must have approval from a parent or legal guardian to participate in the competition.
Entry Period:
The entry period starts on July 11th and ends on August 31st.
On September 15th 2023 the 10 finalists will be announced on our social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram). The designs of the finalists will be published on social media, where everyone can vote for their favourite design. The people’s favourite will receive a special prize. Voting is possible until October 15th 2023.
The winner of the competition and the people’s favourite will be announced on November 1st.
Selection of winners:
The finalists and winner of the grand prize will be selected by DGT. All winners are subject to verification.
When you participate in the competition, you are providing DGT with the full rights to use your artwork as their intellectual property. DGT can use, reproduce, and distribute your artwork as they see fit, without seeking further permission or compensation from you.
