Back to overview
Friday, February 13 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences in Emmen to the DGT headquarters in Enschede. Their visit was sparked by an upcoming study project. In this project, the students will design a chess-playing robot and wanted to learn more about real-world chess technology and product development.
During their visit, the students got a closer look at who we are and what we do. We shared the story behind DGT, showed how our chess products are developed, and explained what makes our technology unique. The enthusiasm and curiosity of the students made the exchange lively, with plenty of interesting questions and discussions.
For us as a company, it is always great to get in touch with young talent who are passionate about technology. Moments like these are valuable for sharing knowledge and inspiration. They can encourage students to start their professional careers at DGT, through an internship or a future position. We look back on the visit with great satisfaction and are always open to exploring further collaborations with students and educational institutions.
