Can I use Revelation II as a normal DGT e-Board?

Yes, this is possible.

A special mode on Revelation II can be selected so that it functions exactly like a regular DGT Bluetooth e-Board. For this you need to download the RabbitPlugin driver for the DGT e-Board.

When Revelation II is connected via Bluetooth with a Windows computer, it can use UCI chess engines that are running on this Windows machine in the same manner as the embedded engines. The opponent's moves are not indicated by the LED's but instead are indicated on Revelation II display.
