Is it possible to update the DGT Pi software?

It is possible to update the PicoChess software on which the DGT Pi runs. The DGT Pi was released with PicoChess 0.9L, but there are newer versions like PicoChess V3 Lite available that are compatible. A video on how to install can be found here).

To update to a newer version you will need:

• Empty SD card (8GB minimum storage)
• Win32DiskImager (Free download available here)
• A download of a version of PicoChess to install on the SD card

Note: before attempting to install the PicoChess software, make sure to delete all partitions on the SD card via Windows Disk Management, so that it creates one single partition.
