Why does the position of the pieces on screen not match with the actual position on the board?

DGT e-Boards can be influenced by electromagnetic fields generated by computers, monitors, power supplies and especially plasma television screens. Please ensure to keep such devices at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from your DGT e-Board.

Metal surfaces or table tops can also considerably reduce the sensitivity of the board detection electronics. Be sure to place the e-Board on a non-metal surface and as far away as possible from metal or metal frames under wooden tables. If you still encounter "ghost pieces", move the e-Board to another location. If this does not help, feel free to contact DGT support for further assistance.
